Packaging Shows 2011where you'll find the Pronova Packaging Systems:
Welcome! 29.09.2010 Pronova enters the US market! After more than 30 years of successfully selling the Pronova Packaging System throughout the European market, we have now started up Pronova US Inc. in Schaumburg, IL, to launch our bag packaging systems on the U.S. market. “Over the years, we have been approached by several U.S. companies, interested in buying our systems. But because of the fact that we haven’t had any representatives or licensees in the country, we have had to let them down.” says Johan Jostler, Managing Director of Pronova Packaging Systems. From our site in Schaumburg, we will initially focus on marketing and sales activities and keep a stock of standard bags and a number of machines on site. Within a year we hope to have found suitable licensees for the production of bags at various locations in the U.S. 29.09.2010 Blueline - a new and unique way to produce linked bags. Since 1980, we have constantly strived to improve our products and remain at the forefront of technological development. Today, this has lead to a fifth generation of standard range of machines and we recently launched the third generation of bag designs evolving from the Joker system. It is called Blueline. With the Blueline bags, the excellent features of the Sesam bags are kept, but the strings are made in a different way – extruded directly onto the plastic film as the film is converted into bags. “With this new method, we can make bags from any plastic material, with any thickness, as long as it’s on roll. It means we can now say yes to potential customers that we previously had to let down because of material limitations and we can move in to new industry sectors and significantly broaden our customer base.” says Mr. Jostler. Blueline advantages:
One box of bags – One chain. With this new string, we are able to produce long series of bags with less splices, which significantly reduces changeover time. At the Scanpack show in Gothenburg, October 20-23, we showed all of our standard machines including the new 505, which was launched at the show. We had most of our machines in line with either a filler, a printer or a label equipment -to show how easily our machines can be integrated with other machinery and create efficient packaging lines. The 505 was in line with a small weigher from Engelhardt. The 510 with work table was equipped with a CAB label machine. The 520 was in line with a vibrator feeder from Detab Ecomat and an InkJet printer from MarkJet. The 525 had an industrial robot from KUKA that placed one pen and one business card into each bag. The 535 was displayed together with an Ishida multihead weigher 091116 Pronova in new agreement with Flexico It is now agreed that Flexico will represent and sell the Pronova Packaging Systems in Italy. Flexico has been our distributor and licensee since 2007 and handles sales and marketing of our packaging systems in France, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and parts of Germany. 091105 New standard machine model We introduced our latest addition to the 500-series, the 505, at the Scanpack show 2009, held in October in Gothenburg, Sweden. With a simpler design and fewer components than the rest of the machines in the 500 series, the 505 is particularly well suited for smaller growing productions that have packed all manually and now need to develop the packaging process to become a little more automated and much more efficient – without spending money on technology they don’t need. The 505 comes in two versions – one that is designed for manual filling, with a small worktable with three boxes for unloading and for separating different products, and one without the worktable, which can be integrated with various fillers or production equipment. Both versions can be added with label equipment or printers. The 505 handles Pronova system bags in various sizes -from 60 up to 200 mm wide bags, and there are various optional applications available, such as reclosability, perforation, pin-packs etc. Standard sealing speed: 30-40 bags/minute, depending on bag size. 081205 Updated standard machine The latest of our new standard machines to be ready is the Pronova 535 - a stainless steel machine that replaces the 425UR. The 535 is, like the 425UR, specially well suited for packaging products with high hygienic requirements, such as food and pharmaceutical products. It can be thoroughly washed and has, like the other machines in the 500-series, an integrated beam system that holds the cables and cords and helps to keep the area around the machine clean and safe.
